Prayer Challenge

I want to ask you to say this prayer out loud, if possible.

“I belong to God. I am a holy vessel because I have the Holy Spirit of the Living God. The Lord of Heaven and earth has said to me; “I declare you holy!”. I commit to start believing what He says. I AM HOLY! Remind me daily, Spirit of the Living God, to treat myself as holy, open my eyes to every scheme of The Enemy to treat me as if I'm not. You, God, are Holy. Your word is the truth. This day Father, I chose to believe you! I ask this in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ, who died on a cross for me so that I could be a coheir to the kingdom of God. Amen”

Psalm of the Week -105:1 - November 1, 2015

Psalm 105:1 is an action verse. The psalmist lists three actions to take:
1. give thanks to the LORD
2. pray
3. tell others what he has done.

Why give thanks to the God? Saying thank-you keeps me grateful. Self-centeredness separates me from God. Gratefulness removes self-centeredness.

Praying is conversing with God. Jesus often went off by himself to pray. If Jesus did it, I am doing it.

Giving God credit for what he has done in my life is another way to remove self-centeredness. Giving thanks keeps me humble. I am not taking credit for providing my needs and wants. I am giving God credit for providing them. By telling others how God is working in my life, I have the opportunity to share my faith with another person.
