Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 1 Peter 1:8 NIV
Prayer Challenge
I want to ask you to say this prayer out loud, if possible.
“I belong to God. I am a holy vessel because I have the Holy Spirit of the Living God. The Lord of Heaven and earth has said to me; “I declare you holy!”. I commit to start believing what He says. I AM HOLY! Remind me daily, Spirit of the Living God, to treat myself as holy, open my eyes to every scheme of The Enemy to treat me as if I'm not. You, God, are Holy. Your word is the truth. This day Father, I chose to believe you! I ask this in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ, who died on a cross for me so that I could be a coheir to the kingdom of God. Amen”

Psalm of the Week - 60:5 - April 18, 2016
"By the Lord's "beloved" ones are meant, not so much the people of Israel, who were loved and chosen by the Lord above all people on the face of the earth, as the elect of God, both among Jews and Gentiles, who are the chosen of God, and precious, and are loved of him with a free, sovereign, everlasting, and unchangeable love: these are the beloved of Father, Son, and Spirit;" Gill's Exposition of the Bible
Verse of the Week - Jeremiah 17:14 AKJV - April 18, 2016
"Whatever wounds or diseases we find to be in our hearts and consciences, let us apply to the Lord to heal us, to save us, that our souls may praise his name. His hands can bind up the troubled conscience, and heal the broken heart; he can cure the worst diseases of our nature." Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
Tired, Worn Out, and Standing on Scripture
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith: be it to you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. Matthew 15:28 AKJV
The Canaanite woman had great faith.11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you. Romans 8:11 AKJV
She believed Jesus had the power to heal her daughter and set out to gain a healing for her daughter. She followed behind Jesus and the disciples, crying out for that help. She couldn't be ignored and her faith was rewarded with a healed daughter.
The phrase "quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you" continues to catch my attention today.
The Holy Spirit is in me. No doubt about that. Now to believe the scripture and know, with no doubt, KNOW that the Holy Spirit is quickening my mortal body.
Today, I will continue to cry out to Jesus in prayer and believe that my mortal body is being quickened by the Holy Spirit. These feelings will pass. They are temporary. My energy will return.
All parents want to comfort their children and take joy from seeing them happy and healthy. Our Father in heaven is no different. I just need to rest and ponder these two scriptures for awhile.

Psalm of the Week - 52:8 KJV- April 3, 2016
"that trees grew in the temple courts, as they grow at the present day in the Haram area, and that he (the psalmist) compares his prosperity and security to that of the carefully tended trees planted in sacred ground. But more probably two figures are combined. He (the psalmist) is like an evergreen olive tree, while the wicked man is rooted up: he is God’s guest, enjoying His favour and protection." Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges
Verse of the Week - Matthew 13:22 AKJV - April 3, 2016
Bible reading helps keep your focus on Jesus instead of on the cares of this world. Yes, riches make life more comfortable. There is no denying this.
Acquiring riches shouldn't be the focus of your life.
If you are sitting in church, thinking about work instead of the sermon, you might be in danger of becoming unfruitful. The care of the world is choking out the word.
